Had a fun conversation with our current apartment management in email, which just reinforces our ultimate happiness over our decision to move.
Me: We are donating our couch to the salvation army tomorrow. I’ve planned to leave it out back by where the dumpsters go for them to pick up, but with the rain, i’m wondering if it would be better to leave it in the B wing vestibule by the pop machine?
Them: As of now, the weather report indicates that is not going to rain tomorrow. Please proceed with placing the couch by the B-wing dumpsters for Salvation Army pick up.
Me: I know that, but you know that puddles tend to stay around, right?
Them: Please proceed with placing the couch by the B-wing dumpsters for Salvation Army pick up.
Don’t worry folks, we’re getting rid of some plastic shelving, so will just balance the couch on that. Sarcasm Joel wanted to write back again “The soggy bottom people at the Salvation Army appreicate your understanding” but is going to just leave it here.
